I am currently in search of an agent for the purpose of publishing my first fiction novel. I am a contributing features writer at the Bay Area Reporter—the longest continuously published LGBTQ news source in the nation. Educated at Stanford University and the Honors College of the University of San Francisco, I have studied with authors Garth Greenwell, Calvin Baker, Alexander Chee, Carl Phillips, Rick Moody, and Mary Rakow. My work contributes to new thinking on identity and self-realization, and the art of storytelling is central to my mission where I seek to explore the richness of the human condition and aim to contribute to a culture where myriad voices are heard and personal truths are illuminated.

In my past work, I have taught the convergence of East Asian Philosophy with Western Psychology at the University of Minnesota and Southern Oregon University, leading seminars in the theories of Mythologist Joseph Campbell and East Indian Philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. I have been a Yoga Therapist concentrated on personal recovery from trauma, and have promoted meditation and nutrition as paths to wellbeing.
